Using Greek leather, small chain, and beads of stone or glass, make an elegant bohemian multi-wrap bracelet to accent your summer styles. Open to all skill levels. For adults and teens. Mother, Father, Grandmother/father, daughter or son, any combination of loved ones you can think of! This class is for high school students and their parents to find that something special by creating bracelets together. Students will learn how to form, fold, texture, color, patina, and protect their new finish on the cuff bracelets. It will be a wonderful experience working together to create jewelry for a lifetime memory. There is a nominal materials fee based on the number of bracelets created. Using tools provided in the Jewelry & Small Metals Studio, students will create oversize buttons out of copper, brass and aluminum. You will also learn the basic metal technique of doming and also simple texturing processes that give you great accent pieces for handmade fashion, textile or jewelry projects. Jewelry experience is not necessary. See the AAC website at www.arkansasartscenter.org for a Supply List. A $10 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
